Environment, Globalization and Heritage in Guatemalan Maya Communities
Learn how to design, conduct and write-up qualitative, ethnographic research while on the shores of a crystal lake framed by volcanoes! During the 7 ½ week program, live and work with a local Guatemalan family in the Lake Atitlán area of the Western Highlands.
The UW Pipeline Project is sending groups of students to rural and tribal communities throughout Washington State during spring break 2014 to facilitate hands-on environmental education projects. Teams will plan, design, and teach your own curriculum to young students whose educational experiences and opportunities are limited simply because of where they live.
