What is it? CLEW was created by legislation passed in early 2013. It is a committee chaired by Governor Inslee and has four other members whom are elected members of the state legislature.

This is a winter seasonal position with a starting hourly wage of $13, DOE.
Duties: This position is responsible for enacting the on-the-ground component of various programs operated by the Environmental and Sustainability Services Department, with a significant focus on industrial recycling, composting, and solid waste management as well as sustainability projects, efficiency initiatives, and greenhouse gas reduction efforts.

Argosy Cruises is offering free boat rides to volunteers to clean up marine debris from Blake Island on September 21! This event will be part of the International Coastal Cleanup, a global volunteer project to remove trash from our waterways.
