What is it? CLEW was created by legislation passed in early 2013. It is a committee chaired by Governor Inslee and has four other members whom are elected members of the state legislature.

This is a winter seasonal position with a starting hourly wage of $13, DOE.
Duties: This position is responsible for enacting the on-the-ground component of various programs operated by the Environmental and Sustainability Services Department, with a significant focus on industrial recycling, composting, and solid waste management as well as sustainability projects, efficiency initiatives, and greenhouse gas reduction efforts.
