Anna Mines graduated in December 2014, with a double major in Environmental Studies and ethnomusicology.
Persuaded by a friend to visit and stay in Italy for a while after graduation, Anna left Seattle on a six-week backpacking trip, which included a WWOOF stint in the southern Italian town of Maratea. 

Each quarter, matriculated students of the University of Washington pay a Student Technology Fee (STF), which amounts to almost $5 million a year. The STF pays for additional technological needs of students, both in and out of their regular classes.

This year the CoEnv Scholarship and Funding Committee awarded over $48,000 in merit- and need-based scholarship funds to 24 undergraduates.

This Winter quarter, Environmental Studies brought together 5 environmental consultants to share their experience in the field of consulting, offer advice to students and alumni, and answer questions. The room was full and the discussion was robust.
